In 2003, Anne Pasley-Stuart was appointed by Gov. Dirk Kempthorne to House Seat A in District 19, where she has lived for 26 years. She was elected in 2004 and re-elected in 2006.

Business Experience

Anne is president and CEO of Pasley-Stuart Consulting, an organizational development-consulting firm. Prior to founding her own business, she was the chief human resource/organizational development officer at several leading corporations.

She was awarded Senior Professional in Human
Resource status by the Human Resource Certification Institute. She is a graduate of the University of Great Falls and the National Judicial College and has
taught classes in human resource and organizational development at the College of Business at Boise State
University.

She has long been active in her industry: Society for Human
Resource Management (elected to national board of directors, serving as vice president); Human Resource Association of Treasure Valley (past president); Idaho State Human Resources Council (state director); Northwest Human Resource Association (regional board member).

Personal History

Anne, a native of Caldwell and third-generation Idahoan, comes from a
long line of Idaho public officials. Her grandfather Raymond C. Pasley
was a prominent Democrat in Canyon County; her uncle Bob Pasley served
as mayor of Caldwell; another uncle, Jack Kennevick, served in the
Idaho House of Representatives for 18 years and was House Majority
Leader.

Anne is a graduate of the University of Great Falls in Montana and
the National Judicial College.

She was a weekly commentor for seven years on “Idaho at Sunrise,”
KTVB Channel 7, and has been quoted in
numerous publications, including, the Wall Street

Her husband, Tom Stuart, is a retired colonel in the Idaho Air
